OVERVIEW:

The FLEET MAINTENANCE MANAGER is an internet system that keeps record of Preventative Maintenance & Inspection (PMI) Services performed by BEAR.  It is required by law that large trucks have a PMI Service performed every 90 days.

Given this information the Fleet Maintenance Manager schedules when a vehicle is due for service.

 

ENTER NEW CUSTOMER:

Enter User Information:

  1. Use the administrators UserID & Password to log in.
  2. Click on Administration, Users.
  3. Enter New User information, Status=2.
  4. Click Save.

You may now proceed as an Administrator or Log Out & Log In Using the New User information you just entered.

Enter Fleet Information (Request from Customer):

  1. Click on Administation, Fleet.
  2. Enter Status=1, Inspection = PMI, INTERVAL= 90, VID = Enter the Vehicle ID number.
  3. Mileage Date & Mileage = Leave blank
  4. Note = Optional
  5. Click Save.

Enter PMI Service Information (Request from Customer):

  1. Click on PM.
  2. Enter Status=1, Inspection = PMI, INTERVAL = 90, Date = PMI Performed, Job Number = Invoice Number.
  3. Nonconformance & Corrective Action = Leave Blank / Optional.
  4. Mileage Date & Mileage of last performed Service most likely from another Service Center. (Vital in order for system to know when next PMI Service is due.)
  5. Click Save.

Click on Schedule:

This information lists all the vehicles & sorts by 'DAYS DUE IN' for PMI Service.  If logged in as Administrator then it will list all companies that are being serviced by BEAR.  Otherwise it will only list vehicles for currenly logged in User.
